After looking over most of these posts and a very long conversation with Eric Nielson (we were trying to decide what to put on our posts), I have decided to sum up my past 10 years in a very short few sentences.

1) I served a mission after high school in Texas
2) I got married two years and three days later
3) My wife and I welcomed our little joy (Matyson) into our lives 3 years 2 months and 11 days later
4) 25 days later I began teaching at Fox Hollow Elementary in Lehi, UT
5) Next year I will be teaching 4th grade at North Point Elementary in Lehi, UT

Hi everyone
First of all i want to say congrats to everyone who either got a baby or got married. Its been a while since my last trip back to Utah but i promise you i will come back one day and say hi!
As some of you may remember, i was the foreign exchange student from Norway, with the weird glasses. I dont wear glasses anymore, just contacts. I am soon a bachelor in creative writing-Doing allot of commercial and radio ads. Since i was in Utah i have studied, travelled and worked with everything from a schoolteacher to doing commercial ad´s.
I am getting married 15 Aug, 2009, with my beautiful girlfriend, Karin. We have been together for 7 years, but still no kids. I live close to Oslo, the capitol of Norway, and dont even own a car! No pets, do kids.. but working on both:-)

Thanks to all who came to the reunion festivities! It was really fun to see each other and catch up! We missed those of you who couldn't make it. Thanks to Michelle Wheeler Durst (and all her "helpers" for all her hard work in organizing the 10 yr reunion! If you have any pictures you'd like to post from the reunion, send those in!

Keep sending in your blog posts... we will continue to update it all the way through our 20 yr reunion. (I saw a sign for the SHS Class of '49 Reunion today and I just about died! For those of us who are still alive at that time, lets have a party to celebrate okay?) We will continue to post updates even if you have already posted, let us know about marriages, new babies, new jobs, and new homes!

Hello everyone!

It's crazy that 10 years has come and gone already.

After graduation I started my 8-year degree at UVSC. (No, it wasn't actually supposed to take that long, I simply took the extended route through school, and enjoyed every minute of it!)

I interrupted school the first time to work at EPCOT at Walt Disney World in Florida for a time.

I returned to continue schooling for a bit, then took another break to serve a mission in California, Spanish speaking. It was there that I learned how to speak fluent Spanglish with a proper American accent.

Having survived that experience, I (finally) finished school with some sort of degree, and graduated as a Registered Nurse. I now work nights at UVRMC on the Pediatric floor.

Right now I spend my time enjoying my freedom, battling procrastination, exploring new hobbies, and just living life as it comes at me.

Wow is life fantastic! Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion. As for me, after high school I attended UVSC for one semester and decided it wasn't far enough away from home. I enrolled at Utah State University in Logan, UT and danced on the Big Band Swing dance team for 4 years. I took a break from school for a year and a half and nannied in NY for a wonderful Jewish family.

I still keep in touch with them and have even gone back to visit. When I returned from NY I took a trip to Mexico and then went back to USU. There I met the man of my dreams, Benjamin Nilson and we got married in Aug '04. I have worked as a CNA almost our entire married life at the Cache Valley Specialty Hospital. I graduated with a bachelors degree in Exercise Science while also finishing my nursing prerequisites. I didn't expect to get into nursing school on my first try while pregnant with my first child. I would have started when he was only 1 week old. I have always wanted to stay at home to raise my own children so I opted out of nursing school for now but plan to return later.

Hayden Benjamin will be 3 years old next month and my second son, Gabriel Jack will be 19 months.

On top of being a stay at home mom, I help my husband run our business. We bought a house in Logan, UT and will be residing here indefinitely! Ours dreams are truly becoming reality! Still so much life ahead.

Hey, everyone! Wow, how time flies. I am excited to see everyone on Friday and am glad I’m finally getting around to posting on here. Let’s see…where to start? After graduation I headed off to BYU and got my degree in Marriage, Family, Human Development four years later. I met my husband, Beau Sorensen, online (of all places) in May of 2004 and we were married in the Salt Lake Temple in January 2005. Our daughter Alyssa was born in February of 2006 and our son, Aaron, joined us in January of 2008. My husband is the Director of Finance at a home health care company here in Orem so we have settled nearby, much to my parents’ joy and delight.

I am a stay-at-home mom and enjoy being home with the kids most days (just keepin’ it real). We have been able to travel a lot partly because of my husband’s job and partly because we rack up so many frequent flier miles and hotel points. Since we got married we have been to Japan (where my husband served his mission), Washington D.C. three times, Boston, Seattle, Vegas numerous times, New York, Texas, Cleveland (that was an exciting one), Hawaii, Greece, Italy twice, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Monaco, England, and…yeah. Maybe some others. The kids have been in tow for many of the trips, believe it or not. There is nothing quite like pushing a double stroller through the tiny streets of Greece I must say. It’s been awesome! I love traveling and am so glad my husband does too and that we have so many opportunities to do so. In our spare time we love hanging out with our terrific friends (because seriously, what’s better than a good game of Rock Band with a group of friends, especially when it includes Eye of the Tiger sung in a fake German accent by your hubby? Believe me, you haven’t lived until you’ve heard that one!), going on dates when possible, playing with the kids, and doing all the “normal” stuff. The last ten years has definitely had its ups and downs but I have definitely, definitely, definitely ended “up” and can’t believe how lucky I am to be where I now. See you all Friday!

Wow, I can't believe it has been 10 years!It has been fun reading about how all of you are doing.

Where to begin...after graduation I attended both UVSC and SUU. I found I didn't really like the college scene and decided to become a licensed pharmacy technician. I worked in several different Albertson's pharmacies and at UVRMC, which was an awesome experience. In 2002 while on a date with Eric Nielson I met Brant Perkins' older brother Ryan. After hanging out for a couple months, we had our first official date in October of that same year. By Thanksgiving we were engaged. On March 25, 2003 we were married in the Bountiful Temple. (Is it just me or did quite a few of us marry classmates' siblings??)

A month before I got married my dad opened his first Window World store and asked me to be his office manager. The following October we found out we were expecting our sweet little girl, Olivia.

She is the light of our lives and has her dad and Uncle Brant wrapped around her little finger. After Olivia was born I took a break from Window World and worked part time at The Center For Change, an eating disorder clinic and at a youth crisis shelter. Both of these experiences made me appreciate my husband and daughter more than I thought possible. However, after only a year my parents had a second office to open and needed someone who knew the ropes to run our Spanish Fork location. So currently I am still working for my parents, helping run both our Spanish Fork and Salt Lake City offices. The nice thing about working for family is they don't care if my daughter spends the day with me. Ryan works for Wasatch Mental Health coordinating services for Utah County's homeless, mentally ill. We live in Spanish Fork and couldn't be happier. I won't make it to the reunion as it is my daughter's 5th birthday and she has 24 hours worth of activities planned. I guess that is how it goes when you are an only child of very baby hungry parents :)

After high school I went to UNLV in Las Vegas for a year. After the first year I took a break and went and lived with my oldest sister in Stockholm, Sweden for a semester. When I got back from Sweden I continued to work and go to school in Vegas. In the beginning of 2004 I decided to take another break from school, and got a job with Jetblue Airways as a flight attendant based out of New York. Later that same year I married my husband Jason who I had been dating for five years. Working for the airline has let us endulge our love of traveling, which we take full advantage of. I started school again a year ago, and will start the nursing program in the spring. I want to continue with my school and eventually get my PA. We still live in Vegas with our 3 dogs, who keep us very busy.

I got my Associates Degree in Business in 2000, and then decided to major in Photography after interning for a photographer in Salt Lake City. While attending UVSC, I met my husband, Dave Bolda.

We got married in 2001. I had my first baby, Payton in 2002. In 2005 we welcomed our baby girl, Chloe. I have stayed busy with kids, photography, and a new endeavor, jewelry. In 2006 we moved to Kansas. My husband graduated from Washburn School of Law in May. He will be taking the Utah Bar exam in July. We made good friends in Kansas and had fun exploring new cities. We really loved it there, but we were too far away from family. So here we are back in Utah.

I am excited to see all of my old friends from high school at the reunion!

Wow...10 years is kind of a long time but here goes: After I graduated from high school I went on a mission to the Philippines where I spoke languages called Tagalog and a little bit of Ilokano. I loved my time there and would love to go back some day. After returning home I decided to go to BYU-Idaho in Rexburg where I majored in Health Science while completing prerequisites to get into physical therapy school. Despite the cold, the small population, and other problems I had with Rexburg, ID, I really had a great time there and met some wonderful people. In 2005, while in my last year at BYU-Idaho I married my wonderful wife, Sarah. We had actually met in 2002 and had become very good friends then but for whatever reason we never dated each other. She had boyfriends, I dated other girls, but we remained close friends for three years. In 2005 we just kind of realized that we were made for each other, fell in love, and got married in the SLC temple. In 2006 I graduated with my BS in health science, we moved to Los Angeles where I had been accepted to physical therapy school, and we welcomed a beautiful baby girl named Ashley Nikelle into our family (A very busy year!). A year into grad school I realized how much I disliked physical therapy. After much thought, and conversation with my wife I decided to bail on PT. (No offense to any physical therapists out there, but it was kind of boring to me). We moved back to Idaho where I worked assisting adults with severe mental illness in Idaho Falls. I loved my job there and was fascinated with schizophrenia, psychosis, and other mental problems people suffer with. But, after a couple of years I decided it best for me and my family to keep going with my school work and am now in Physician Assistant school in Billings, MT (which is why i can't make it to the reunion). I would like to eventually practice in pediatrics but I just might end up in mental health, only time will tell. Life has been busy but very wonderful for me and my family. I have lived away from Springville for most of my life post high school but I still consider my friends there some of my best and think of you all the time.

Angela (Swanson) Jones

In 1999 I began studying art history at BYU. I had couple of great summer internships at Sotheby’s New York and Christie’s London. While living at the foreign language student housing, I met Jason Jones, an engineering student from Texas, and we were married at the Salt Lake Temple in November 2001. We both graduated from BYU in 2003 and that September moved to England so I could pursue a master’s degree in art history at the University of London, Courtauld Institute of Art. We intended to stay just two years, and now more the five years later we still live in England. We have had great professional and educational opportunities which have kept us here.

After finishing my masters, our daughter Victoria was born in 2004, followed by another daughter Genevieve in 2007. And yes, Victoria does speak with a British accent. Jason completed his own master’s degree in 2007 and now he works at a university in Leicester as a research fellow. I’m a full-time mother and am working on a biography of the German painter, Heinrich Hofmann. We have loved living in England. It has been a great base for travel and indulging our passion of art and architecture. Wish we could be at the reunion. Have a great time.

Seth and Shannon (Child) Ercanbrack

After high school Seth attended Ricks College for a year and then went on a mission to Scotland. I attended UVSC and then went on a mission to Nauvoo, Illinois (for 8 months) and then Louisiana (for 10 months). We both attended Utah State University after our missions where we bumped into each other. We both ski instructed at Beaver Mountain in Logan and started dating. We got married Oct. 15, 2004. Seth graduated in Business/Marketing and I graduated in Elementary Education. For a few years Seth and I worked for a company called Del Sol. We managed and worked in some of their stores in the Caribbean (St. Thomas and St. Maarten) and Juneau, Alaska. We loved our experiences and look forward to more adventures. In between moving to other places, we got a dog, (named Saba) Seth sold cars and had other various management jobs, I taught 2nd grade in Payson for 2 years, and we had our baby girl, Brielle, who is now 18 months old. Currently we are renting a basement in Mapleton and are looking for a house near Lehi. We wish you all the best!

There's a little bit more of me around the middle and a little less on top but other than that the last 10 years have been pretty good to me. I served a mission in the gorgeous beaches of northern brazil. In one city we lived literally 3 streets from the ocean. I would wake up to the smell of salt water each morning. It was torture but I loved every minute. In fact, I went back to Latin America two more times. Once, as a student volunteer in Mexico and then to El Salvador as the country director for a non-profit group.

I met my wife Becky on a blind date (my little sister set us up). We have moved many times since we were married 5 years ago. Mostly, following job opportunities and promotions. We went from Springville to Ogden to St George then to Idaho Falls. Thankfully, Becky is very a patient. I guess you'd have to be to stay married to me.

We live in Spanish Fork and I started a new job as the Production Manager at a plant in Provo. Its the perfect job for me. I have my own office but I'm not chained to my desk. I can jump up and get on a forklift or pnuematic press for a few hours if I feel like it. It's awesome! Becky and I have 2 great kids. Adam just turned 3 and Tessa is almost 10 months. It will be good to see everybody next week.

I've had some wild opportunities these past ten years. Why don't you join me on a brief journey of the time I've spent in different ventures...

After a stint at a state college I decided to try my hand in the financial realm. I got in contact with a few well known folks and soon found myself as the adviser to the lovely homemaker Martha Stewart. I tell you what, that smile is just captivating. One evening after some warm peach cobbler I took some financial liberties that would soon send Martha behind cold metal bars of the state penitentiary, away from the comfort of the doilies that draped the sofa arms of her favorite couch.

After some border hopping I was able to find respite from the law in sunny Hawaii. While washing in the Pacific Ocean I was filmed by the crew of LOST, much to their displeasure. After scrapping that take I was pulled aside and given a stern talking to, but at the same time a serious consideration for a future role in season's 4 and 5. The beard that I had managed to finally grow helped in placing me in the part of Daniel Faraday. In the end I was ousted by some other fellow who could actually grow a mustache. JJ Abrams did assure me that it was a very hard decision to make, so I left comforted. I decided then to take my chances back on the mainland and moved to California after earning the money for a flight back by selling the Papaya's I hand picked in the jungles of Hawaii.

Having found a new love for acting I auditioned for a few things here and there, the most notable being the "Mac" in those great "I'm a PC, I'm a Mac" commercials. I was told I was a close 2nd to the actual fellow you see. Looking back now I realize I was perhaps a little bit too eager.

The winds of time blew and in January of this year I found myself in the nations capitol. It was a frantic day, many crowds, and a bit of confusion. Stumbling into the White House I was given a Judge's robe and was told to put it on immediately. For some reason I was given the words to the oath of office the President was to take shortly. I was told to memorize them and quickly. Drawing from my acting background I hurriedly memorized these lines and found myself pushed out to the concourse where thousands of people looked on. My bewildered gaze was met by Mr. Obama's and I broke the silence with the words I had just put to memory. The stress got to me and I tripped over a few phrases but regained composure quickly. I was again ushered from the scene and had to relinquish the Judge's robes. The only thing I took from that experience was the memory, and I suppose the headlines of "Presidential Oath botched!", "President sworn in again later that evening!","Where did they get this guy?!"

My pride was hurt, I had to return home to nurse my wounds. I'm currently residing in Salt Lake City, just regaining my confidence through watching self help series such as the Oprah endorsed "The Secret".

Hey everyone. It's been fun reading up on how you're all doing. Here are the highlights of the past ten years for me.

1999: As soon as school gets out we leave for our Senior Trip in Oceanside, California (see picture and try to identity each respective Red Devil); the next fall I start college at UVSC (is it just me or did A LOT of us go to UVSC at some point)

2000: Spent the summer in London and throughout England, which is a life-changing experience; A couple of months later I leave for an LDS mission to Micronesia.

2001: Continue my mission, speaking a language called Pohnpeian, which includes cool words like "tikitik," tiak suwed," and "dundun" (all of which Brandon Bales and Craig Nielson can translate)

2002: Get back from mission, return to UVSC, majoring in English Literature and minoring in Religious Studies

2003: Return to London again, also visiting Rome and Paris; publish an amateurish book of poems; room with Craig Nielson; meet a girl named Tiffany

2004: Miscellaneous political activities; girl named Tiffany continues to intrigue; she has beautiful blue eyes; she's also smart and funny; I decide to propose and she decides to say yes; we are married Dec. 16th, 2004 in Salt Lake and honeymoon in California; Life is good

2005: School continues; in our spare time we take spontaneous trips to random places; other things happen that I can't remember

2006: My wife and I graduate; my wife earns her teacher's license, and begins teaching English at Fort Herriman Middle School; I'm very proud of her; I begin my MA at BYU emphasizing in Romantic and Contemporary Literature, while also teaching Freshmen Composition; after much thought, prayer, and liberal meditation I decide to join the Obama campaign

2007: Miscellaneous political activities; SURPRISE! We learn that what we thought was a painful kidney stone in my wife, turns out to be pregnancy

2008: Our beautiful daughter, Sofi Anne Vogel, is born on February 1, 2008; I get accepted into the Ph.D. program at the University of Rochester in New York; we leave that summer, driving across the country; after three days of corn fields we make it; I start school and am very happy with my program; I singlehandedly win Obama the presidency

2009: We are now going on our second year in New York. We love it here. We take monthly visits to DC to visit my brother's family. I do a lot of reading and writing and enjoy watching my daughter grow. We'll be here for probably another three or four years before I start teaching somewhere.

Two weeks after we graduated I headed up to attend Ricks College. I loved it up there and had a great experience!!!! I graduated with my Associates in Business in April 2000. I came home with the plan of working for a year saving up some money and going back to school. Things didn't turn out as planned, I met my husband James Webster in May of 2001 and we were married in the Salt Lake City Temple in March 2002.We lived in Orem our first 3 years of marriage. I worked for a doctors office doing the billing and finances while my husband was finishing up his degree in Business Management and working full time. After a year long struggle with fertility treatments we were finally able to start our family.

Our twins, Zac and Lexie, were born in July 2004 after a very long hard pregnancy (I spent 3 months on bedrest, the first 2 in UVRMC).

In April of 2008 we were blessed with the birth of our third child Samantha. Zac and Lexie are now almost 5 and will start Kindergarten this fall (now that makes me feel old!!!). Samantha just turned 1 and is in such a fun stage learning a lot of new things. We are currently living in Spanish Fork and really like it here. My husband works in Commercial Real Estate and I am lucky to be able to stay at home with my kids. I love my "job" and the joy it brings into my life.

Kerri (Peterson) Hancock

After high school I married Bard Hancock. We will be married 10 years in October. We live in St. George, and have been here for 6 years. We love it here for the fact that we can play softball all year long. I graduated from Provo College with an AAS Degree. I am currently working for myself as a Massage Therapist. Bard graduated from ITT Tech in CAD. He is currently a supervisor for a construction company.

We have 4 wonderful children. Joshua is 12, and loves to play basketball and baseball. Jordan is 8, and he loves all sports. Natasha is 5, and is a very active and intelligent girl. Kaylee is almost 2 and wants to do everything her older sister is doing. The kids keep us busy with all their sporting events, and we never have a dull moment.

Erik Brinkerhoff

After high school I went to UVSC for a semester and worked on the newspaper as the opinions editor. After that, I served an LDS mission in the Chile, Osorno mission. When I returned, I went to BYU and received a B.S. in Psychology and a minor in English. During the summers when I was in college, I worked for the U.S. Forest Service maintaining trails, working on the motorcycle crew, fighting fires, and doing law enforcement. After I finished at BYU, I took a year off from school and took some time to backpack through Europe.

Then, in the fall of 2007, I started law school at the University of Utah. After my first year of law school, I did a study abroad in Lund, Sweden. My focus in law school has been both environmental law and international law. This fall I will doing international law in Stockholm, Sweden. Then, I will finish my law degree in London, England next spring. After I graduate, I’d like to either continue with international law or work as a Foreign Service Officer, furthering U.S. diplomatic relations abroad. Looking forward to seeing you all at the reunion.

After graduation I went straight to UVSC (now UVU) for further studies and was able to receive my associate of science degree in computer graphic design in 2001. While I was there, I started got involved with student government. (I guess I wanted to make up for all the high school years of not being able to “talk” due to my very limited English abilities.)

I was elected as the PR officer for International Student Council, became a mentor for the UV Leader Program (now UV Mentors), and was one of four public speakers at the multicultural speakers bureau. I graduated in ‘07 with my bachelors of science in multi-media communications technology and a minor in mathematics.

Since scholarships only funded part of my education, I worked as a project manger at Globalization Group in Orem, while being a full time student, where I specialized in localization/translation projects and also became a voice talent for several major corporations around the globe. Additionally, I helped a friend to start up a modeling/acting agency/school which has now relocated to NYC.

The summer before I graduated, I was accepted into Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco office, Vera Wang’s NYC Design Firm/Corporate Company, the US Senate’s office in D.C., HRIC (Human Rights in China) NYC office, as well as Governor Jon Huntsman Jr.’s office for total of five internship opportunities. After a lengthy debate, I chose Salt Lake City for my internship experience. (And yes, Huntsman’s Chinese is THAT good.)

After completing my internship, I started to work as Director of International Business Development for a corporate company here in Salt Lake City. At the same time, I got involved in the local community’s pro bono legal programs for minority youth and women. Listening to the youth and women’s amazing stories not only reminded me of myself when I first came to the states, but also motivated me to start my preparation for a degree in the legal field. I am now working for ACE Test Preparation here in Provo during my preparation for the LSAT.

After high school and a bit of bashing around not too far from home (I was still on a Dillard's salary) I delved into a full load of classes at UVSC and all very quickly met my wonderful husband, Justin Sutherland of Alpine, in a Book of Revelation class none the less. Not wanting to be a freshman failure--we held out through a "lengthy" engagement of six months and were married in August 2000, a couple weeks before starting my sophmore year of college. I studied all things music and choir, and even learned to sing by the end of my second year. But alas, UVSC didn't have my major so I switched to English and realized I love to read and am not too bad at critical writing. I graduated in 2003 and 2 months later had our first baby, Audrey. I got to stay home, snuggling with a baby and a book all while seeing Justin through his last year of the MACC. After his graduation in 2004, we drove out of the mountains, across the plains, to the green hills and forests of Cincinnati where Justin began his career with Deloitte. In 2006 we welcomed our second child Russell Henry, a very sweet and happy boy. Five months later we made the bittersweet transfer back to our families in Utah leaving our wonderful friends in the midwest. We bought a house near Thanksgiving Point and enjoy the closeness of mountains and family. One month ago, we welcomed our third child Jocelyn. I am so glad to stay home with my kids, learning the simpleness of life and the magic of imagination. I'm exicted to see everyone at the reunion, and to the rest, happy life!

I started at BYU about two weeks after high school graduation, majoring in Neuroscience. After a year of college I went to Munich on a mission and decided to add a minor in German upon returning home in 2002. During my sophomore year of college I got to know Callie Haggard, originally from Mapleton, who was in her second year of law school at BYU. We froze through a couple of cold November BYU football games and talked all the way through some long movies like Seven Years in Tibet and The Birds before becoming inseparable until our engagement in April of 2004. I left BYU for a research fellowship at the Mayo Clinic that summer while Callie stayed in Utah, worked grueling hours at a big SLC law firm, and planned our wedding, which took place in August of 2004.

In the fall of 2005 I started medical school at the University of Texas in Dallas and Callie sat for the Texas bar. I survived Gross Anatomy and all the other joys of the two preclinical years, and we welcomed our baby girl, Zoe, in May, 2007, the month before I took my boards.

I spent a lot of sleepless, stress-out nights with a flashlight in my mouth and a baby and a book in my lap during that month, but things always have had a way of working out it seems. That pattern held true during the clinical years, where I often spent every third night working 36-hour shifts in Dallas' huge county hospital, Parkland Memorial.

Meanwhile, Callie started the legal department of a non-profit agency in Dallas, specializing in helping abused, immigrant women and victims of human trafficking (modern slavery). She has the remarkable ability to balance motherhood and lawyerhood, constantly surprising me by teaching barely-two-year-old Zoe to count to nine (what happened to ten? I'll never know) and bringing home amazing stories of survivors of human trafficking, whose histories often defy description and always boggle the mind.

I'm finally graduating with an M.D. on June 4, 2009, after which I'll do one year of Internal Medicine residency in Dallas before moving to Miami (hooray for beaches!) for a three-year Dermatology residency, which will consist of treating a lot of skin cancers, seeing patients admitted to the hospital, and a touch of Botox. Zoe, Callie, Minnie (our dog) and I love the beach, and we hope our next baby, due in December, 2009, will like it just as much. Callie says she still loves me despite the fact she will have to take the Florida bar. I'm driving out to Utah for the reunion and look forward to stops including Rocky Mountain National Park, where I've never been, and several places in the Uintahs.

Ten years already...
Right after High School I went off to Ricks College, and came right back home after 1 semester (what an awful place!). Fall of 2000 I left on a mission to Chile, Osorno. I spent 1 year at BYU after the mission, and then transferred to UVSC. I graduated April 2008 from UVU (UVSC) with a BA in Behavioral Sciences, emphasis in Psychology. March of 2009 I got married to Jamie Lynn Ball, and we have a baby girl due the first week of June.

Since High School I have also had numerous jobs. I worked in a warehouse, then as an electricians apprentice, a year doing home restoration, Gold's gym, waited tables, managed a restaurant, fabricated and installed granite countertops (in Fayetteville, AR of all places) housekeeping, and I currently work as a security guard for IHC.

Right now life is all about getting settled into life with my wife, and getting ready for our baby girl to come. I plan on continuing my education to at least the Masters level and hopefully someday a Ph.D.

10 Years flys by really fast!! After graduation I headed to BYU in the fall. I changed my major three times before deciding on Animal and Veterinary Sciences with an emphasis in Veterinary Technology. I spent the fall of 2000 as a member of the BYU Colorguard performing with the Marching Band. I had a really great opportunity in the summer of 2002 to come to Portland Oregon and do a Veterinary Clinical Medicine internship with Non-Human Primates at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). I fell in love with the Northwest and the Monkeys instantly and knew I had to come back. I returned to Utah to finish my senior year, and graduated from BYU in April 2003. Shortly after I took a national test and became a Certified Veterinary Technician. I worked at a small animal clinic in Orem for a year, and then decided it was time to head back to Portland in May 2004. I continued working in small animal medicine for another year, while also working at OHSU. OHSU couldn’t get rid of me so they finally hired me full time in 2005. I’ve enjoyed keeping the monkeys healthy for the last four years while loving living in the Northwest. I spend my free time with friends, going out to dinner or the movies, in the out of doors or on my bike. My favorite things to do include hiking in the Columbia River Gorge and visiting the beaches of the Oregon Coast.

I've done a little bit of traveling, but this summer I’m looking forward to exploring more of Oregon and visiting my family still in Utah. And I have no idea what the next 10 years hold for me!!

Greetings from St. Louis! Since I won't be able to attend the reunion, I thought I would share what I have been up to these past ten years. I first went to two years of school at Ricks College and loved it all, except the winters! I could have stayed when they changed to BYU-Idaho, but decided to go down to BYU instead. I'm very glad I did because I met this pretty awesome guy named Tyler Erickson there and we were married in the Salt Lake Temple Sept. 25th, 2002.

I graduated from BYU in April of 2003 with an Elementary Education degree. We spent the next summer in Ohio while my husband completed an internship at NASA. That fall I started teaching 6th grade at Pony Express Elementary School in Eagle Mountain while my husband finished up his last year at BYU. Then, with impeccable timing, our first son, Luke Tyler was born the day after school got out. Tyler started working as an Operations Manager at Convergys and we lived in Sandy for a year before being transfered to the St. Louis area. We have been here for more than three and a half years and LOVE it! About 4 months after moving to St. Louis we welcomed our second son, Isaac Nelson to our family. Tyler is now working as a consultant with BJC Health Care as well as going to school for his MBA at Washington University. Only about another year and a half and he will be done, then we will see where we end up! I've been able to stay at home with my kids and they keep me on my toes with their many questions and big imaginations.

Luke is 5, just graduated from preschool and is way more excited than his Mom is about starting Kindergarten. Isaac is three, loves playing Batman, loves animals, and is hard at work begging for a dog. We enjoy going to Cardinals games, visiting the many free local attractions in St. Louis, going to Six Flags and traveling to any BYU football game that is within a days drive (we've seen them play in Tulsa, OK and Fort Worth, TX, but we think we may be bad luck, because they keep losing all the games we go to!)

After high school, I went to to live with my aunt in south carolina. There I met my husband ben, he just joined the coast guard, and we hit it off. I got engaged on christmas of 99 after just dating a few months, got married the following year in july after I moved backed to utah, then packed up and moved to s.carolina , had my first child a girl in May so I pretty much just played the mommy scene, in 2004 I had my second child a boy in March, then in May we packed up and moved to Maine where we are now. last year I had my third a girl, yeah it seems I just keep spiting them out. I've enjoyed being a mom it sure has its up and downs but I love it, we are planning to have four kids. After I'm done with that, I'm looking forward to going back to school. I would like to go into nursing. We are in the process of building a home which can be stressful and a lot of hard work, my in laws live next to us which helps out a lot. We are due to transfer next year unsure on where we will go hoping to stay around Maine, husband is also considering going to Iraq for a year. As for me just keeping busy with the kids, and work.

Looking at my 9 year old daughter makes me feel old, but now realizing it's been 10 years since HS was the last straw!
I technically didn't graduate from Springville High, but I hope ya'll will still let me claim it. I attended halfway through my senior year and finished elsewhere. So if all of the sudden anyone noticed Mary was gone, that's why.

I moved out on my own shortly after high school at the first opportunity and met my husband, "Mr. Excellent" shortly there after.

Daniel is from New York City/Manhattan. He still doesn't know why he came to Utah, but I guess some thing are just meant to be. Daniel and I had our eight year anniversary on May 25th, but we've been together for ten.
...and yes, that's our real last name.

We have four children. Talia is 9, Darius "Scooter" is 7, Nasir is 5 and Myra is 2.

We've lived all over Utah County and Salt Lake City throughout the decade. Since I like to do things a bit backwards and now that I have all my children here and growing, I decided it's time to continue with college. I am currently attending UVU majoring in A Lot of Stress and minoring in a Ton of Debt. I'm still not sure exactly where I'm going with this "great idea", but I'll figure it out soon. I'm leaning towards Community Health or something to do with nutrition. I will be transferring to University of North Carolina, Charlotte in 2010 unless the wind takes us elsewhere. We're spontaneous people and are moving to NC on a whim. We've had enough of Utah and said "Why not?" As soon as we've both completed school, our final destination is New York City.
Daniel is also in school and designs websites for a living.
I'm still currently in Utah and my husband and children are in Charlotte, North Carolina. I haven't seen them since March and I miss them like crazy! I'll be heading out to reunite with them the day of the reunion (road trip anyone??), so I wont be attending. I'm currently employed in the aircraft parts distribution field. We sell airplane parts to major airlines and repair shops, that is until I leave Utah. It's taught me a great lesson in what I don't want to be when I grow up. I need a bit more excitement in my life!

I enjoy country wide road trips for no reason at all (three times across the country in one year, about to be four, so much fun!), foreign films and documentaries. I'm a sucker for old lady hobbies like quilting and crocheting. I love a good debate, so bring it on. I have a bad habit of making baked goods and eating them and has now forced me into a love of exercising.

How do you sum up the past 10 years in a paragraph?

I can't believe I am old enough to have a ten year reunion.

What has happened: Soon after Graduating I meet my husband Doug at a local gas station in Mapleton where he was working while going to school. We meet and were married 9 months later.

We both worked and went to school he got his bacholers in Business and I got my Associates in science. After we were married for about 4 years we moved to Oklahoma where my Husband went to law school. We loved living in a different state, we made such great friends and love the memories we have from living in Oklahoma. While we were in Oklahoma after being married for 5 years we were blessed with a boy we named Calin who just turned 4.

As for what has been going on now, we are finally adults, after moving back from Oklahoma we lived with family for about one year. We are lucky enough to buy a home in Spanish Fork, really close to our families (and remember the other one that looks like me jen she lives around the corner) We added another baby to our family in July of last year, Grant.

Calin loves to have a baby brother and I love having two boys. While my hubby works at a law firm in provo I am lucky to stay home and be a mom. I feel so lucky and blessed to have a great husband and two great kids who I worked really hard to have, I never would have thought that two little kids could make someone so happy.

After high school I went straight to UVSC (now UVU) and finished my Bachelor’s degree in English and Literature in 2004. I was pretty ecstatic to write about subjects concerning popular culture, literature, and film and realized that I had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. In the summer of 2004, I moved to Amsterdam, Holland where I began studying an M.A. in Cultural Analysis at the Universiteit van Amsterdam. On weekends I would hop aboard trains, planes, or catch a ride somewhere from someone and explore the contours of Europe and beyond. I found that education, culture, and backpacking really do it for me in life!
Some memorable trips include: backpacking through the Baltics (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania), discovering my ancestral roots in small villages throughout Poland, basking in the magnificence of fantastic cities such as Vienna, Prague and Budapest, taking off a week in between writing my Master’s thesis and flying into Ljubliana, Slovenia with a friend having absolutely zero plan and trekking through Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria.

I wrote my Master’s Thesis about an annual rock concert in Nuremberg, Germany held on the former Nazi Party Rally Grounds (die Reichsparteitagesgelände) and finished my M.A. in 2006. In August 2006, I moved to Santa Barbara, California where I’m currently studying a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). I study 20th Century German and American Literature and Film. I passed my first qualifying exam in 2007 which analyzed documentary films about women in Afghanistan, took a lovely trip to Thailand and Cambodia in July 2008 with some friends, and am now working on my second qualifying exam in 20th Century German War narratives while teaching introductory German at UCSB.
I still have a few years before I’m finished, and definitely feel that a Ph.D. is the hardest thing I’ve attempted thus far. I sometimes get impatient with continually living the poor college student life but feel equally lucky that I get to learn and teach everyday and travel during the summers. It is no understatement when I say that travel holds the key to many of my greatest moments and experiences in life.

So much has changed in 10 years, mostly myself! After graduation, I went to UVSC to get my Associates degree then went to Weber State University and graduated in Radiology. I worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center full time for 5 years and for the last 3 years (since becoming a mom) have only worked once a month.

I married Ian Lewis in the Bountiful Temple and we will be celebrating 5 years this July!

We have two children;

Nathan is 3 and Ella is 2 and they keep me very happy and very busy! After graduating from BYU, my husband started a Master Herbalist program, which he will finish up this month. It has been so great to learn and incorporate natural healing and nutrition into our lives. We just bought a house in Kirksville, Missouri where we will be moving in August for the next adventure in our life...........Medical School!

I thought I would post a little something about us since we won’t be to the reunion. After graduation, I continued my studies at UVSC and completed my BS in Criminal Justice in 2004. I met my husband, Tyler Turner, in 2001 and we dated for a year and a half before tying the knot in August of 2002. We will be celebrating our 7 year anniversary this year and have had so much fun together.

Tyler is a Civil Engineer and works for Civil Science. I am a mortgage loan officer and work for Envision Lending Group. We are both workaholics, but we do find time to play in between all the work deadlines. We moved to Lehi nine months after being married and have been here ever since. We love it here. It is pretty much like Springville, but I miss living so close to the canyon to go jogging. We are tired of the quietness around our house so we are expecting our 1st baby in November.

When we aren’t working, we enjoy being with our family and friends. Tyler’s favorite past time is basketball, and I enjoy playing with the Bells on Temple Square. We are looking forward to the next 10 years. We hope all is going well with everyone else!

Wow...can it possibly be 10 years already? It seems like yesterday I was walking up the high school stairs. I have enjoyed seeing some of our classmates faces on facebook, and those that I have been fortunate enough to see in person.So much has happened since 1999.

Taylor and I have been married 10 years (11 in August) and have 2 wonderful boys. Dade is 9 and Tayen is almost 7. We moved to Queen Creek, AZ two years ago and don't miss the Utah snow at all. I work as a chef and Taylor works for an online school called Walden University. I have been lucky to have Candice Gallegos marry my brother-in-law, Jack Stika to marry my sister, and Kasie Giles marry my brother.

I own an online candy store called Worth A Fortune, and hope to start a wedding desert catering business. I wish we could make it to the reunion, but are unable to-- do to work and life.

After High School, I studied Music(voice) at Snow College Ephraim UT. I married Brian Terry from Springville, In the Manti Temple January 2000. We bought a house in Spanish Fork in the fall of 2005. We have spent the last few years making this house our home. we have three kids Regina (7), Preston (5), and our little surprise Logan (2).

Brian works For SunRoc Construction as a Truck Driver, and I am a cashier at Kmart. We are also trying to start our own business It's called Terry's Quilt's - we make home made Levi Quilts and sell them at booths at the city days. We have our hands full with the kids, our jobs, and trying to get our business off the ground but we are so happy we barely notice.

It doesn't seem like ten years have come and gone, and yet so much has happened in that time. After graduation I headed to Utah State University. I had the best time and fell in love with Cache Valley. I changed my major a few times before deciding on Anthropology. During my second year at USU I met my husband, David Burris.

We were married in July of 2001. As if life wasn't exciting enough, we decided to add a baby to the mix. Our first baby, Emma Rose, was born in May of 2002. While I stayed home with Emma my husband went to school at USU. Dave also worked for World Savings Bank in Logan, Utah and then decided to go full-time as a loan officer. He worked there for two years before they transferred us to San Antonio, Texas. We were in Texas for almost three years. It was a wonderful experience to live outside of Utah. We enjoyed experiencing a different climate and a different culture. After great success with the company, we decided that we wanted to be closer to family. We made the trek back to Utah in December of 2007. It was hard leaving a good job and good friends, but it has been great to be back near our families. Since moving back, Dave has completed his training and licensing to become a Real Estate Appraiser. We lived in Smithfield, Utah for a while but then decided we like country living. We just recently moved to the Bear Lake area and absolutely love the quiet and peaceful atmosphere. We might even try our hand at farming a little! (By farming I mean we might get a few animals and plant a garden!)

During all the moving (nine times in eight years!), I have been able to take a few classes, here and there, at USU. I'm determined to finish my degree someday! I have also started my own photography business. I've had to put it on hold for a few months, but I love photography and hope to keep expanding my business. Emma, our oldest is now seven years old and we have added three more children to the family. McKay, our only boy, is five years old; Sophie is three years old; and Layla is 18 months old. And we are expecting our fifth child, due in October!

In addition to moving and having babies (what else is there?), my husband and I enjoy being outside, working in the yard, traveling, going to the lake, watching movies, video-gaming, and having fun with the kids!

It's been a full and life-changing ten years and I'm excited to see everyone at the reunion!

Wow, 10 years. A lot has happened! To say the least, I went from to being a goof-off Ream's bagboy, to LDS missionary, to off n' on UVU student (as I can afford it!), who is studying film making. Along with film, I also really enjoy grounds care. I've enjoyed the various places I've lived and the many people I've met along the way. I'm not married, nor do I have kids. I'm still a single boy lookin' for a little lady to settle down with :) I live in Orem right now. Can't get away from Utah. I love the seasons way too much!!!

Greetings from Colorado. These past 10 years have flown.

After high school I tried the college thing for a couple years only to find out it wasn't for me. After deciding to "take some time off", Justus Talley walked in to my life. After a year of dating and even after meeting my family he wanted to marry me for time and all eternity. We got married May 1, 2003. For our first couple years we lived in Orem where I worked at a Dr's office as a receptionist and Justus went to BYU. In July 2005 we had our first daughter Izzy (Isabelle). She has been so much fun. She has the sweetest spirit, and is always making me laugh. She is as girly as it gets and I love it.

After Izzy was born we decided to move in with my parents so Justus could finish school (which he graduated in April 2007 with his Masters in Information Systems), and I could stay at home with Izzy.

Then in 2007 I decided to go back to school and do hair. I worked hard and graduated a year later just in time to move to Colorado for my husbands job. Right after we moved out here I found out I was pregnant with baby number 2. In October 2008 we welcomed Max.

He is our big little man. At 6 months he was almost 20 lbs. He is starting to crawl and gets in to everything. He adores his big sister and is pretty chill but happiest when food is around. We currently live in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. We just purchased our first home about 2 months ago and having so much fun getting it "just right". It is a great starter home with everything we need for right now.

I am working at a salon and trying to get my home salon up and running so I can just work from home. Justus is working as an IT developer for a local gas company. Together we love to run and anything else outdoors. He is currently training for another marathon, while I am training for a local 5K.

We miss our family and friends in Utah, but love being out here in Colorado.

Okay, 10 years to fill you in on, so buckle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride. After the festivities of high school graduation I signed up for school at UVSC with a full 2 year scholarship from that Sterling Scholar thing. I started off as an art major...I broke my right elbow from a horse kick so after that first semester I decided I didn't want to do that anymore. Changed to Biology. Throughout all this I was working full time as well...fun I know. I worked at Deer Valley teaching skiing for 3 seasons and worked at a bike shop in Payson for 2 summers while living in Springville and Orem.

After I got an Associates Degree I moved up to the BIG CITY, Salt Lake, and went to the U. I decided to go into Psychology, which only lasted a semester then I decided to go into Therapeutic Recreation. I worked for an entrepeneur of sorts in Salt Lake, I ran a character development program in elementary schools, we started a soup business, an international art symposium, an educational exchange program for Chinese government officials, planned events and many other such exciting things. I probably learned more at this job then in my 4 years of school.

During this time Benjamin Stephen Sorensen from Salt Lake City came into my life. We dated for about 6-7 months and got engaged. Ben is 6' tall with dark hair and he loves the same things I do. He is smart, good looking and fun. Never a dull moment with him. We got married in the Salt Lake Temple and moved into a small apartment downtown. He worked while I finished up my BS degree at the U with an internship at the National Ability Center (NAC) in Park City. The NAC provides adaptive and therapeutic recreation to people with disabilities. Through a series of interesting events that internship turned into me managing their equestrian program which I have been doing now for 2+ years or so. I get to teach children, youth and adults with physical, cognitive, emotional and social disabilities to ride horses while helping them build life skills in these other areas. I get to ride horses every now and then and I work with some amazing people. My hubby Ben got his CNA and is working on being a nurse. Ben and I play a lot now, we own 2 cute little heeler puppies and live in Heber. Ben is an amazing rock climber, I go with him and I also bike a lot. We camp, hike, and just play in the outdoors. Life is good and I am excited to catch up with everyone at the reunion.

After high school I attended Brigham Young University where I completed my undergraduate degree in psychology. While at BYU, I met my husband, David Lewis, from Taylorsville. We have two boys: Isaac (4) and Benjamin (1) who keep us happily busy. We are expecting our third boy in September. I feel very fortunate that I’m able to care for my children full time and have such an active role in their lives. We live in Springville and can usually be found planning a trip, exploring Utah’s beautiful canyons and parks on foot, on bikes, on skis – however we can, reading and finding creative ways to occupy our two energetic little boys.

I can't believe it has been 10 years since graduation. I don't even know where to start. Right after Highschool a bunch of us Springville girls headed to SUU where we had a blast. I had a little too much fun so I had to part ways after a year. It was really way too much fun:) After that year I started attending UVSC and I changed my major from Education to Criminal Justice. I loved my classes and continued on with Criminal Justice. I ended up moving to Salt lake with some friends and we continued our good times.

I love to travel and we visited the Carribean, Florida, California and Hawaii (we went back to Hawaii several times). I made many memories and friends along the way. After graduation I quickly figured out that Criminal Justice wasn't for me, I didn't want to be a babysitter. I really wanted to work with teenagers and help them succeed. I decided that since I loved school so much I would go back and about a week ago I graduated with my Masters of Science in Counseling/School Counseling from the University of Phoenix. This past year I have been working as the 9th grade counselor at a school in West Valley. 6 years ago I met the man of my dreams, Jeff Po'uha, he is the best thing that has ever happened to me and about a year and a half ago we tied the knot:) He is wonderful and he has 3 amazing children, hopefully we'll be adding to that number soon. Jeff works at Hampton Inn and also does security. I can't imagine my life without him!

I can't wait to hear what everyone else has been up to over the last 10 years... See you at the reunion.

If you don't remember who I am, it's because I moved our junior year to Evanston, WY. After graduating I went to USU for a year before serving a mission in Baton Rouge, LA. I returned to USU and completed a BFA in drawing and painting. At the same time I completed the seminary teaching pre-service program and was hired as a seminary teacher.

That same year I married Bonnie Evans in the Bountiful Utah Temple. We were assigned to teach in Garland, UT and have been living there ever since. We have one child, a sweet little boy named Haken who will be two years old this June.

From High School Graduation until Now…..10 Year Summary

Within months of completing high school I started a 2 year mission for the LDS church. I spent my time in Spain mostly serving in the Canary Islands which are just off the North West coast of Africa. Where I was able to learn and speak the Spanish language and really enjoyed the people and climate.
I returned home just before Christmas of 2001 and worked on my Degree at UVSC which I ended up graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management in the spring of 2006. I have also in the last 10 years worked for 3 different companies: Centaur Print Partners (Accounts Receivable Manager / Production), CaCo Enterprises (District Sales Manager/ VP of Sales for Utah), and US Synthetic (Purchasing Agent (current) / Production).

While attending UVSC I was fortunate enough to meet a young lady named Rose, who I talked in to marrying me. We were married in the spring of 2003 and have since been able to enjoy the additions of 2 boys: Bear born 2005 and Lyon born in 2007. We are also happy to be welcoming a new little girl, name to come soon, to the family who should be joining us June 2009.

We currently reside in a home in Spanish Fork, (I know, I know things just turned out that way, but at least there is no way in *&$^ ! my kids will be Dons, they’ll get to go to Maple Mountain High). We are all just enjoying life and feel blessed to have what we do and be so close to so many family members and friends. I thoroughly enjoy my work at US Synthetic and the people I work with.

Well, I don't have any pic.'s but I can give a brief update on my life.

I have been married to Ryan Pulsipher for almost 9 years, we have 2 gorgeous girls, Madison Leigh is 9 in August, Abigail Lauryn is 4 on June 29th. We lived in San Diego for 3 years while he was in the Navy and I miss it very much but am glad he does not have to leave me for long periods of time anymore.

I am going to be starting school to get my LSAC soon and Ryan works at the St. Hospital as a cook/driver for the kitchen.

He and I are more in love then I ever knew was possible, and our kids are our greatest blessings...Thats all folks!!

So my life, very short story version:
I got married to a wonderful guy named Justin in May of 2001, we just celebrated our 8th anniversary.

We lived in Orem for the first year and finished up our associates at UVSC.

We transferred to Utah State in the fall of 2002. Where we learned our associates were basically useless for our majors, urgh.... and that we had another 4 years of school ahead of us. My husband got his bachelors degree in Landscape Architecture and I got mine in Interior Design. We were both really involved in school, we both were the presidents of our student associations and enjoyed all the fun friendships that we made there. We graduated in May 2006, Justin with Honors, and I magna cum laude.

We also bought our first house when we moved to Logan. It was a not so beautiful 100 year old house, that we gutted and remodeled for 4 years. We loved it! Remodeling is now one of our favorite pass times!

Justin was offered a job at his dream firm in Asheville, North Carolina. So, we moved from the rocky mountains to the Appalachians and loved our new home. Justin worked for his job, while I began remodeling our second home. I later got a job working for the Easter Seals working with an autistic teenager and babysitting for a friend. Unfortunately, in July 2008 with the downturn of the economy, the office was basically shut down and we lost our job. We worked frantically to finish the remodel, sold the house, got a new job and moved to Texas (all within 2 months we were very blessed)

Upon arriving to Texas, Justin and I finished up our adoption application, since we have not been able to have children, only to find out HAPPILY that I am pregnant on the last day of our interviewing process. So, I am now prego and loving being a spoiled stay at home "bare foot and pregnant" wife. We are looking forward to with great anticipation to the birth of our first daughter in late July. (Oh yeah, and we are the proud parents of two cats and 5 chickens- who knew I would someday be a farmer?- it's a great life!)

After graduation I went to Utah State University to obtain my degree in Anthropology. As an undergraduate student I fell in love with Gabriel White, whom I met on the ballroom dance team.

We have now been married for 7 years and have a darling little girl named Persephone.

After my graduation from USU, my husband and I moved to New York while he pursued a law degree. I was able to get a job working with preschool age children in an inner-city school. I fell in love with young children and later taught at a private school when we moved back to Utah. I have also used my passion for reading and literature to spend several years working in both book stores and libraries. I left my job at the Salt Lake City Public Library this last fall to spend more time with my daughter. I have loved being a mother and think it's my greatest adventure yet!

Hey Everybody,

I was very excited to hear all about our 10 year reunion and was making plans to come. Then I found out that I was having high risk twins and I am not able to travel and I have to be checked into the hospital in June for monitoring until the babies come. So I hope that everyone has a lot of fun without me and I will try to make it to the next one.

As for me the last 10 years, I got married to Kasey Dickman in 2000 and we stayed in Utah for him to attend BYU and for me to get a degree at UVSC in communications. In 2004 we had our first girl, Kylee, and then moved to Oregon. In 2005 we had our second girl, Savanna. Right now I am pregnant with twins, more girls, and even though they are due in September, they will probably come in August. I am a stay at home mom and my husband stays busy working at an insurance company and attending WSU for his masters. Even though I am a Utah girl at heart, I have fallen in love with the Pacific Northwest and really enjoy taking my family to the coast.

Well, lets see... alot has happened in 10 years....where to begin!

After graduation, I went to upstate New York and had a great time being involved with the Hill Cumorah Pageant, after that I headed back to Utah and attended UVSC, where I was going into business management. After two years, I decided that wasnt for me and enrolled at Paul Mitchell the School in Provo, where I attended night school and in Dec 2005 graduated with my cosmetology/barbering license for the state of Utah. I was working for Provo Craft in Spanish Fork where I met my incredibly wonderful and sweet husband Christian and we got married in May 2006. We just celebrated our 3rd anniversary and we currently live in downtown Salt Lake City. It has been one crazy ride so far but we have had a great time! I have two adorable dogs, no kids yet.. but I do have several very cute nieces and nephews so that counts :)! My husband is a police officer and works for the State of Utah and I am currently working for Tai Pan Trading in their accounting department. In November, I got the opportunity to go to El Salvador for 2 weeks and had an amazing time! We love to take our dogs to all the dog parks all over the Salt Lake valley, be outdoors, travel, we love movies, reading books ( I am a huge Twilight fan!) running, hiking, and just spending time with the people we love and each other. Right now I am training for the Ragnar Relay, which is a huge relay race from Logan to Park City and it is the week after the reunion so wish me luck! It will be great to see everyone there!

I went to UVSC my senior year of high school. That is why no one saw me around. I married Aleesa Allred in August of 1999. We were married for almost 9 years but got divorced last June.

I did not really care much for college so I dropped out and started investing in real estate when Aleesa and I bought a duplex in 2001. I kept learning more about real estate and did some more investing, but things were slow so I decided to go back to a private nursing school.

Apparently I had forgotten how much I didn't like school, so I dropped out of that to. ;-) I started back into real estate investing and had a few jobs along the way to help support us while times were slow. Once again, I forgot how much I didn't like school and headed back to UVSC to study AVIATION. I did well in aviation and even made Deans List my first semester back. I got through a lot of my aviation classes and then hit my generals. (In aviation you take your generals AFTER your degree specific classes.) Once again, I remembered WHY I don't like school and I figured out that I like learning, I just don't like being told what I should be learning.

I headed back to the investing world and started raising capital for private placement investments and investing in Pre IPO stock. With the down turn in the economy things have slowed down a lot so once again I am considering heading back to school. Maybe the 4th time will be the charm.

Other than that I am just taking life as it comes and trying to make the best of it, I am sure just like everyone else. After serving a mission in Brimingham England, I returned home to beautiful Springville, started school at BYU, and not being hired anywhere else, returned to Zubs where I met my wife, Shanna Blackburn, and after 2 years of pursuit she married me. I got a "real job" at US Synthetic in Orem and have worked there from June 2004 to the present. Jumping back and forth between majors at BYU I finally settled on English with a minor in Anthropology and will be finally graduating in August.

My wife and I bought a house in Payson in January 2007. For fun we like to get outside, read, and go on vacation. Together we've been to Florida, the Bahamas, California, and Canada. No kids yet... Ummm, I like to write and am working on publishing some poems I have accumulated through my years of schooling.

10 year update!

Well lets see I served a mission in Chile Santiago South from 2001-2002, I graduated from Utah State University with a bachelors in Parks and Recreation May of 2007, I am currently working at Aspen Ridge Tranistional Rehab as an Occupational therapist aide and Activities Coordinator, I am going to be going back to school in Occupational Therapy Assistant at SLCC. I am also a CNA PRN.

I have traveled to 6 different countries, have been skydiving, have had EMT training. I am currently volunteering with the Red Cross in Disaster Services.

I married the *boy* that I had been dating all of my senior year when I was 20 yrs old and we moved to Orem. Our son, Zach, was born in Nov. 2002 and our daughter, Alissa, was born in July 2004.

My husband got a job with the state and has been a police officer for the past 6 yrs and I have been a stay at home mom. We moved to Murray for a few years while my husband finished up his bachelors degree at the U of U and have just moved back to Orem to a little old house that we LOVE! Our kids finally have a back yard to play in and it's great! Being an at home mom was hard for me and I found an outlet through photography and have been doing that for the past 4 yrs. I absolutely love to meet new families through my photography and have found it to be such a great job. So that's it.....short and sweet.

Hey everyone! It's been a long time!! I'm excited to get to see everyone at the reunion. I have actually had a pretty great life since we last saw each other walking across the graduation stage! I headed for BYU-Hawaii my first year of college and had a fabulous time. After that, I transfered to UVSC and recieved my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. In the meantime, I married my HIGH SCHOOL SWEETHEART, Brandon Finlayson, in June of 2001! I had the best job in the world, teaching KINDERGARTEN at Spanish Oaks Elementary for 3 years and then stopped so I could try getting the "Mother of the Year" award (still trying). I have 3 AMAZING kids! Warren is 6 and just finished Kindergarten! Kaila is 3 and in her mother's opinion, is the best little dancer around! Mary is my baby and just turned 1 in April! She is the happiest and silliest little baby I could have ever dreamed of! Brandon owns his own business called Professional Home Solutions doing everything from small or big remodels to landscaping, and specializes in electrical. Brandon and I moved to Mapleton just over a year ago and love it. We love the mountains and we love raising our kids here close to grandparents and cousins! Our family loves to go to T-ball and soccer games, running, biking, camping, 4-wheeling, motorcycling, boating, and snow skiing together!
